The school in Berlin

Our school in Berlin offers German language courses throughout the year. Our school is conveniently situated in the district of Wilmersdorf in the heart of Berlin, not far from the famous Kurfürstendamm shopping street and the large Zoo Garten railway station. There is an underground station virtually at the doorstep.
The atmosphere in the language school is international, open and friendly. It has its own cafeteria where you can relax and meeat other students.

German courses

All of the German language courses at NTB can be booked throughout the entire year. The duration of one level is about 3 months. All teachers are native German speakers with expert university degrees and lots of experience teaching German as a foreign language. If required, both schools have video rooms, CD players as well as overhead projectors. Methodology classes of all levels offer a structured combination of communicative elements and integrated grammar.

Accommodation in Berlin

You can stay with carefully selected guest families or in flat-sharing communities. For privacy purposes you will have a personal room at your disposal. All locations are relatively central in the city and public transportation is readily accessible. Our specially selected accommodations are designed to give you a feel of the real day-to-day life in Berlin. You can practice your German and learn more about Germany and its people. Cost of food and drink are not included in the program fee.

Activities in Berlin

We want you not only to learn as much German as possible during your time in Germany, but to also thoroughly enjoy the experience! Learning German in Berlin is a unique experience. This is a city which never sleeps, is full of culture and history. NTB in Berlin offers an extensive cultural program for students attending a German course at our schools.

• The activities within the week are free of charge and include guided walks around Berlin, evenings out with tutors and more. Discover the nature and culture of Berlin and its surrounding areas.
• Every second weekend we offer low cost, full day excursions to Rostock, Dresden and other nearby cities for a fee of €17-25.
• Exchange language partner (depending on availability any time) : This is a service for NTB -participants who stay at least 4 weeks and book in advance. The exchange partner is there to expose you to another language and culture. This “relationship of convenience” can take many forms. The content (pronunciation training, text correction, culture trips, etc. and length) are up to you.

Would you like to extend your stay in Berlin? After the 4th week, each additional week is reduced by 5%.

Application

Interested? Then join our program! But first, please do the following:

• Fill out the form at the end and send it to us. We will confirmed your booking within 24 hours via fax or email.
• Pay the amount of 200 euros within one week (reservation and processing). Once payment is received, the contract is binding. The remaining amount is to be paid 4 weeks before the program starts. Your accommodation address will be sent to you 10 days before the beginning of the course with detailed information about your arrival.
